Baolai hot spring is known for its crystal clear, transparent and odorless sodium-bicarbonate geothermal hot spring. The water is not only for bathing but also drinkable, making Baolai hot spring one of the most famous hot springs in Taiwan.

Baolai Hot Spring Garden (寶來花賞溫泉公園) is located across from the entrance to the local scenic area, “Pulai River-Shetou Battle Trail (浦來溪社頭戰道) ,” which can be reached by passing through the lanes of Baolai Street.

The hot spring garden occupies 5.4 hectares. Not only are the spring rivers set up for public use, but over 1300 strains of pink shower trees (陣雨樹), Kawazu cherry blossoms, green ebonies, floss-silk trees, and other blossoming bushes have been planted in the premise. Travelers can appreciate the colorful sea of flowers or hot spring in Baolai any time regardless of the season.

Visitors can roll up their pants and immerse their feet in lukewarm hot spring under the shades of trees and flowers during the blossoming season. This experience of ultimate casualty is companied by comfortable Phytoncide forest bath and can only be obtained through in-person visit.
