Tesla sales dropped 1.1% in 2024, its first annual decline in a dozen years

Tesla has reported its first annual sales drop in over a dozen years, with global vehicle sales rising 2.3% in the final quarter thanks to 0% financing, free charging and low-priced leases.

Tesla sold about 1.78 million cars in 2024, falling just short of the previous year's 1.8 million and rounding out a difficult year for electric vehicles overall, the company said Thursday.

During the fourth quarter of 2024, Tesla delivered 495,570 cars to customers.

Analysts polled by Bloomberg had expected about 510,000.

Commerce Department seeks to secure drone technology, supply chain from China, Russia

The public has been given the opportunity to express their opinions on the issue of protecting the drone supply chain until March 4."

China accounts for the majority of commercial drone sales in the US.
